Originally from Florida, he earned his M.D. from the University of Miami, and followed with surgical residencies at Baptist Memorial in Memphis, and a residency in urology at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, where he ultimately became a clinical instructor for LSU School of Medicine. And we are honored that you chose the Stripling Center to help you with your healthcare. Timelines We make every effort to respect your time, and try very hard to stay on schedule. From time to time, unexpected problems and emergencies with other patients will cause us to be behind schedule, and should this occur, we will always give you the option of waiting or rescheduling your appointment. Confidentiality Your privacy is of genuine concern to us - not only because of government regulations - but because you have placed your trust in us, and we will not violate that trust. Our staff is very sensitive to your need for privacy and will always respect that. Your first visit Hopefully, you will have an opportunity to complete your initial paperwork which can be downloaded from this site and brought with you. If not, please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early for your first visit so you can have time to review and complete our basic patient forms. Be sure to have a list of your medications and dosages handy. One of our other professional staff members may begin your visit by obtaining your history and physical information, and the primary reason for your visit. Dr. Stripling will then meet with you for a more thorough examination and will proceed with recommendations for treatment.
